i heard it was an everyday choice
not one of action, not one of voice
it is when distance seemed best
however you chose to pass the test
if rhythm and harmony is the goal
then staying in love’s accord is the only role
life has shown me that fear is innate
but being slave to instinct is not my fate
choosing to rebel, i find my own power
expressing my right to love, every hour
in this present moment, that’s where
where my everyday choice resides, it’s there
