To be vulnerable, but fearless. To tell truth, but look beautiful in doing so. To be driven by love, but ready to fight. To be soft enough, but firm enough.

I’m convinced true love is tested on the other side of irritation, an overstayed welcome, contrasting ideas, misunderstandings, conflicting tempers, differentiating lifestyles. When we decide to get up and get over to the other side of these happenings that every human faces, that is when we can sit in stillness and open our mind and our heart. Where we can begin to understand one another, where we find the connection, lasting unity.

There’s no way love is pretty, its gotta be more like an in-your-face-kind-of-beautiful

I can find beauty everyday in relating to someone who has been through everything I have not. I wish to find beauty in the choice of loving someone — regardless of that — for the rest of my life.
